Course Requirements
According to the SFU Assessment Regulations your semester exam mark will correspond to the score you get: 100% - 84% “5” 83% - 67% “4” 66% - 50% “3” Timely submission of all the tasks is obligatory. Late submission (after the deadline) will not be accepted. Late work without a request and a reasonable explanation will not be scored. All the written assignments are the part of student’s portfolio and are to be submitted to your course examiner at the consultation before the examination. The portfolio is expected to include both curricula r and extra-curricular work. If the portfolio is not duly submitted, the examiner reserves the right to subtract 10% of a student’s score for semester work. Class Attendance Policy: Regular class attendance is expected as is preparation for in-class cases and activities. We reserve the right to subtract up to 30% of a student’s final grade for engaging in what the course instructor believes is poor class attendance and preparation. Exam papers will be of FCE structure. Because of the time limits some parts of exam papers may not be used – you will be informed about the changes of such kind before the exam.
